LEGO Friends 42694-1 Pizza Truck launches Aug 1, 2026

LEGO Friends 42694-1 Pizza Truck launched on August 1, 2026, with 190 pieces built around a mobile pizza business in Heartlake City. Brickset highlighted the set in an October review, drawing attention to Olly's return and the continuing role of food businesses in the Friends setting.

How does Pizza Truck expand Heartlake City?

Pizza Truck brings a mobile food business into the LEGO Friends setting. Brickset points out that Heartlake City had only four pizzerias before this vehicle joined the lineup. That context gives the set a place within the theme's broader portrayal of everyday urban life, where shops and food services help create settings for imaginative play alongside homes and other familiar locations.

With 190 pieces, the model focuses on a specific activity rather than a large architectural build. Its appeal is the opportunity to add a pizza-selling vehicle to a Heartlake City layout and build stories around a small business. Brickset also singled out Olly's appearance as noteworthy, since the character had not featured in many sets during 2026. For Friends collectors who follow recurring characters as well as locations, that return is a meaningful part of the set's identity.

What does this mean for collectors?

For LEGO Friends collectors, 42694-1 Pizza Truck offers two clear points of interest: its mobile pizza theme and Olly's inclusion. The 190-piece count makes it a compact option for expanding a Heartlake City scene, particularly for collections centered on shops, food, and everyday community activities rather than large buildings.

The set launched on August 1, 2026, and its listed exit date is July 31, 2027. These dates provide a useful framework for planning a purchase during its expected retail life, although they cannot guarantee stock at any particular shop. Collectors can assess the set according to its fit with an existing Friends display, the character it includes, and the play scenarios it supports. Those concrete features are more useful for deciding whether it belongs in a collection than speculation about future resale prices.
