This page explains how Bik Brik News is written, where its facts come from, and how to ask for a correction.
How articles are written
Articles are published under the name Bik Brik Editor, Bik Brik's editorial system. When several outlets report the same story, the system brings what they report together into one article written in Bik Brik's own words, and adds what our catalog knows about the sets involved.
Drafts are written with AI assistance, then automated checks compare each one with our catalog data and with the source reports before it is published. A draft that makes a claim the data does not support, or that copies a source too closely, is not published.
Where the facts come from
Set facts such as piece counts, minifigure counts, release years, retail prices and retirement dates come from catalog data collected from Rebrickable, Brickset, BrickLink and BrickEconomy. The set facts panel on an article is filled from that data, not written by AI.
Sources and links
We name the outlets that reported a story when it helps you judge it. We link only to official LEGO pages, such as LEGO.com. We do not republish other outlets’ articles or photos. Older community-build (MOC) stories credit and link to the builder.
Independence
No one pays for coverage. We do not publish paid or sponsored articles, and no brand reviews an article before it is published.
Corrections
If you spot an error, email info@bikbrik.com with the article link and what needs fixing. We check the report against our sources, correct confirmed errors, and update the article’s date of last change.
